Starr has published two full-length collections of poetry: “Days of Dogs and Driftwood”(1993) and “This Place Here” (2001). Her poetry has appeared in journals and publications around the country. Her third collection, “Mad With Yellow,” will be available in early 2009. Starr is the founder and director of the Block Island Poetry Project, a nationally acclaimed writing series. With her husband, Champlin, their two children, Orrin and Millie, and Brother, the dog they all adore, Starr owns and operates an inn, Hygeia House. When time permits, she writes her heart out. |
